About Me

Hi, I am Minjun Chang.

I am a Ph.D. student at the RICAL and HARMONIC group at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I received my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University, South Korea.

My research applies humanoid motion control to real field environments, primarily construction and hazardous manufacturing. I work on motion retargeting from worker demonstrations, and on what a demonstration should carry onto a robot built differently from a person. I also train reinforcement learning policies for tool-use and material-handling operations, and study how robots and workers share a workspace safely. My goal is to move humanoid research from laboratory demonstrations toward work a robot can sustain on site.
