My name is Minjun Chang.
I am an incoming Ph.D. student at the Robotics and Intelligent Construction Automation Laboratory(RICAL) at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am currwntly working as a satellite software engineer at Hanwha Systems(Space&Defense).
I received Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Yonsei University, Republic of Korea.
I was also selected as a Next Generation Engineer by the Institute for Promotion of Engineering and Science for Korea (IPESK).
My research interest is built around using control theory for robots as well as integrating different systems for single controller. Especially, I am interested in building safe and reliable automation in robotic applications in hazardous conditions. I am also interested in planning and navigation of legged robots and autonomous vehicles. I intend to conduct a study using reinforcement learning and control theory to create natural and applicable movemement of robots in real world.
